Sean Lenahan serves as the Veterans Employment Program Manager for the U.S. Department of State. In this role, he serves as the senior advisor responsible for promoting employment, training, and career enhancement opportunities for veterans, consistent with Executive Order 13518. Mr. Lenahan previously worked as the Veteran Employment Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Commerce from 2010-2015 and led the DOC Veteran Employment Council. While at Commerce, he was selected for their Executive Leadership Development Program.
Mr. Lenahan served as a Coast Guard officer from 2004-2009 and is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He also received an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
