Sean Lenahan serves as the Veterans Employment Program Manager for the Department of Commerce. In this role, he is responsible for promoting employment opportunities for veterans, consistent with Executive Order 13518. After serving nine years in the United States Coast Guard, Mr. Lenahan completed successful tours of duty at the U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting Command and as a Deck Watch officer on USCGC LEGARE.  In that capacity, he managed Officer Recruiting projects for the Direct Commission Lawyer, Intelligence Officer and Aviator Programs, supervising 92 Recruiting Offices in the recruitment and accession of 100+ specialized Coast Guard Officers.  As a Deck Watch Officer, in 2006, he served as the Senior Boarding Team Officer in the successful seizure of over $50M of cocaine.  Upon separation from the Coast Guard, Mr. Lenahan enrolled in certificate classes through Boston University’s Corporate Education Center and received his Project Management Professional Certificate.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Adjusting the Text Size


The FedsHireVets website allows you to change the text size through standard browser settings or keyboard shortcuts:

Standard Browser Settings

Internet Explorer

  1. In the View menu, mouse over to Text Size
  2. Select the Text Size that best works for you: Largest to Smallest

Firefox

From the View menu, select Zoom, then Zoom In or Zoom Out to increase or decrease the font size.
Note: For Firefox 4+, your full menu bar will need to be enabled; you cannot complete the previous instructions with the minimized/hidden menu bar.

Chrome

Temporarily change the font size for the current window:

  1. From the Tools menu (the wrench in the upper right-hand corner), click Zoom + or Zoom -.

Permanently change the font size for all Chrome windows:

  1. From the Tools menu (the wrench in the upper right-hand corner), select Options.
  2. From the Under the Hood tab, scroll down to Web Content, and select the appropriate Font Size.
  3. Close the Under the Hood tab and return to your content.


Use Keyboard Shortcuts

In Windows, use the following keyboard shortcuts:

Increase: Ctrl-plus sign ( + ) or Ctrl-equals sign ( = )
Decrease: Ctrl-minus sign ( - )
Return to default font size: Ctrl-0 (zero)

In Mac OS X, use the Command key instead of Ctrl.
