Kelly Williams serves as the Veterans Employment Program Manager for the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Human Resources Human Capital Management Team. In this role, he is responsible for promoting employment opportunities for veterans, consistent with Executive Order 13518. Prior to this assignment, he worked for the Marine Corps at Henderson Hall as TAMP-FMEAP Specialist. While at Henderson Hall Kelly taught the “Ten Steps to a Federal Job” workshop and worked closely with the Department of Veteran Affairs, the Virginia Employment Commission, and the Wounded Warrior Regiment to assist veterans with employment. He served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years as a Hospital Corpsman with a combat tour in Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan he was awarded a Bronze Star and the Army’s Commendation Medal. Now at HHS his is dedicated to assisting veterans in their pursuit of Federal careers.
